Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak presided over and delivered the opening remarks at a gala dinner held at Bayon Temple in Siem Reap province on the evening of Sept. 27 as part of G Adventures’ GX Summit 2026.

The event was attended by Mr. Bruce Poon Tip, Co-founder of G Adventures; H.E. Ngov Seng Kak, representative of H.E. Prak Sophoan, Governor of Siem Reap province; H.E. Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodia Association of Travel Agents (CATA); leaders of the Ministry of Tourism and relevant ministries; G Adventures members; GX Summit 2026 delegates; and national and international guests from across the world, totalling more than 600 participants.

The gala dinner was organised on the occasion of G Adventures’ annual meeting, which brought together the company’s delegates and tourism operators from across the world.

During the global event, Cambodia showcased its tourism potential and investment opportunities, as well as its safety, socioeconomic development, rich cultural and traditional heritage, and thousands of temples and monuments, including those recognised as World Heritage sites.

Cambodia also highlighted the friendliness of its people, warm hospitality, distinctive cuisine and attractive tourism destinations to international delegates, with the aim of establishing long-term tourism cooperation with G Adventures, a major international tourism company.

The event also provided an opportunity to promote Cambodia’s image on the international stage and attract more international tourists to the Kingdom in late 2026 and throughout 2027.

The international GX Summit 2026 delegates expressed their admiration for the beauty of Bayon Temple at night and their memorable tourism experiences in Cambodia. They shared photos and videos with their followers and millions of people around the world, further promoting Cambodia’s tourism attractions internationally.
