DPM Tea Seiha Visits HMAS Kuttabul Naval Base in Australia

A high-level Cambodian defence delegation led by H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, paid a visit to HMAS Kuttabul Naval Base in Sydney on Sept. 7 as part of his five-day official visit to Australia from Sept. 6 to 10.
The visit is being made at the invitation of H.E. Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence of Australia.
The Cambodian delegation was welcomed at the naval base by Rear Admiral Bradley Smith, Head of Maritime Sustainment of the Royal Australian Navy.
The visit marks the first official visit by a Cambodian Minister of National Defence to Australia and forms part of a series of activities aimed at further strengthening defence ties between the two countries.
During his visit to Australia, H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with H.E. Richard Marles, as well as meetings with other senior Australian defence officials, according to a recent press release from the Ministry of National Defence.
The official visit is expected to reaffirm the longstanding friendly relations between Cambodia and Australia and further strengthen bilateral military and defence cooperation, the press release emphasised.
