Yunnan Radio and Television Station to Help Promote Cambodia’s Tourism Potential
AKP Phnom Penh, August 15, 2025 -- The Yunnan Radio and Television Station of China is committed to helping promote Cambodia’s tourism potential to the people of Yunnan Province and across China.
The commitment was shared by Ms. Zhang Jing, Director of the Lancang-Mekong International Channel of Yunnan Radio and Television Station, during a courtesy meeting with H.E. Huot Hak, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, at the ministry’s office in Phnom Penh on Aug. 14.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the purpose of the meeting was to report on and seek high-level recommendations for organising international and large-scale tourism events in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap Province to celebrate the Cambodia–China Tourism Year.
H.E. Minister expressed his appreciation and high regard for Ms. Zhang Jing’s efforts in producing a promotional video showcasing Cambodia’s tourist destinations, stunning landscapes, ancient civilisation, rich culture, and warm hospitality. This initiative aims to inspire more Chinese tourists to visit Cambodia.
H.E. Huot Hak agreed to support and cooperate on a project to invite prominent Chinese journalists and influencers to visit Cambodia, enabling them to gain first-hand understanding of the country’s political stability, security, social harmony, and peaceful environment.
Cambodia remains a warm and welcoming tourist destination that ensures the safety of all visitors, he underlined.
