CDC, Huawei Discuss Digitalisation Adoption in Public and Private Institutions

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and China’s Huawei company have discussed the adoption of digitalisation to streamline operations in public and private institutions to advance digital innovation in Cambodia.
The discussion between Deputy Prime Minister and the CDC First Vice President H.E. Sun Chanthol and President of HUAWEI Southeast Asia Multi-Country and CEO of Huawei Technologies (Cambodia) Mr. Tao Guangyao was held on July 17 at the CDC office.
The two exchanged views on the acceleration of digital society and economy in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Pentagonal Strategy-Phase I and with Cambodia’s Digital Economy and Society Policy Framework 2021-2035.
H.E. Sun Chanthol appreciated the discussion and cooperation, highlighting the government’s initiative in establishing the Digital Technology Industrial Park to enhance digital literacy, foster startups, and attract investment in the digital industry.
Mr. Tao Guangyao also thanked the CDC for its support and key role in boosting a favourable environment for Huawei Company’s growth in Cambodia so far and briefed H.E. Sun Chanthol on the progress of Huawei Group and Huawei Technologies (Cambodia).
