AKP Phnom Penh, April 28, 2026 --
Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence on Tuesday facilitated a visit by the Military Attachés Corps in Phnom Penh (MACPP) to provinces along the Cambodia-Thailand border following the ceasefire implementation.
H.E. Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defence, said the delegation departed at 6:00 a.m. on April 28 as part of Cambodia’s efforts to provide information and transparency regarding the situation along the border.
She said Cambodia, as a law-abiding and responsible state, remains committed to resolving disputes peacefully in accordance with international law and the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and the ASEAN Charter.
Cambodia firmly opposes the threat or use of force and continues to pursue a just, impartial, and lasting solution, she said.
According to the Ministry, such a resolution would help lay the foundation for the peoples of both Cambodia and Thailand to live together in peace, stability, and development.
