CCCC Eyes Expanded Investment in Cambodia
AKP Phnom Penh, April 10, 2026 -- China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) has expressed its intention to expand its investment footprint in Cambodia, exploring new opportunities in key sectors to support the country’s continued development.
The plan was highlighted during a meeting between Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet and Mr. Song Hailiang, President of CCCC, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on April 10.
During the meeting, Mr. Song briefed the Prime Minister on the company’s operations in Cambodia and globally, while expressing appreciation to the Royal Government and relevant institutions for their continued support, which has contributed to the successful implementation of CCCC’s projects in the Kingdom.
He reaffirmed the company’s strong commitment to delivering ongoing projects on schedule, ensuring quality standards, and upholding environmental and social responsibilities. He also outlined CCCC’s interest in expanding investment into new sectors, including clean energy, waste-to-energy solutions, water treatment systems, and the development of a digital ecosystem.
In response, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet welcomed the delegation and commended CCCC’s contributions to Cambodia’s infrastructure development, which he described as the backbone of national economic growth.
The Prime Minister also welcomed the company’s interest in exploring new investment opportunities and encouraged it to continue implementing its current projects effectively, contributing further to Cambodia’s socio-economic development.
