Cambodian Ambassador Meets Korean Officials to Strengthen Support for Migrant Workers

Cambodia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, H.E. Khuon Phon Rattanak, convened a working meeting with the head of the Jeonbuk Foreign Workers Support Centre, Keesoo Kim, to strengthen cooperation on the protection and welfare of Cambodian nationals in the region.
The discussions, held on Saturday, focused on enhancing existing collaboration and developing more robust mechanisms to address challenges faced by Cambodian migrant workers in South Korea.
Following the official talks, Ambassador Rattanak met with approximately 60 members of the Cambodian community, including migrant workers, students, and spouses of Korean nationals, to hear firsthand about their living and working conditions. The visit concluded with an informal communal meal.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kim and the Centre for their sustained partnership and effective support in assisting Cambodian workers over the years.
