AKP Phnom Penh, October 12, 2025 --

H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, will lead a senior delegation to participate in the Trilateral Defence Ministers' Meeting and the Closing Ceremony of the Joint Disaster Relief Exercise of the three armed forces, Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam, to be conducted from Oct. 13-16 in Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The participation will be made at the invitation of H.E. Lt. Gen. Khamlieng Outhakaisone, Minister of National Defence of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, as host of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Trilateral Defence Ministers' Meeting.

“The participation of H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence in this important meeting will once again reaffirm the long-standing friendship, solidarity, and commitment of the Ministry of National Defence and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to the Lao People's Army and the Vietnamese People's Army,” underlined a press release of the Ministry of National Defence AKP received this evening.

It is also aimed to further strengthen mutual defence cooperation, deepen bilateral and trilateral relations, and contribute to the safeguarding of security, peace, stability, sustainable development, and enduring friendship across the region, as well as the wider international community, the source concluded.
