AKP Phnom Penh, October 11, 2025 --
The second meeting between the Cambodian National Police and the Royal Thai Police, previously scheduled for Oct. 13, 2025, in Kamrieng district, Battambang province, has once again been delayed at the request of the Thai side, according to a press release from the Cambodian National Police.
The meeting was expected to review the draft action plan for cooperation in preventing and suppressing cross-border crimes, including cybercrime and human trafficking.
The first meeting took place on Sept. 16, 2025, in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo province, in line with the spirit of the first Special Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting held on Sept. 10, 2025, in Cambodia’s Koh Kong province.
Both sides had agreed to hold the second meeting on Sept. 26, but it was postponed following a previous request from the Thai side.

H.E. Lt. Gen. Seang Thearith (L), Deputy Commissioner-General of the Cambodian National Police, signs the Agreed Minutes with Pol. Gen. Thatchai Pitaneelaboot, Senior Inspector-General of the Royal Thai Police, at the end of their first meeting.
