Samdech Khuon Sudary to Visit Hungary in October

Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, will lead a high-level delegation on an official visit to Hungary this coming October.
The visit aims to deepen legislative cooperation between Cambodia and Hungary and marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties.
Samdech Khuon Sudary confirmed the upcoming visit during a bilateral meeting with H.E. Janos Latorcai, Deputy Speaker of Hungary’s National Assembly, held on July 30 in Switzerland on the sidelines of the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, noting that the visit had previously been postponed due to security concerns.
While the detailed agenda has not yet been disclosed, H.E. Janos Latorcai expressed Hungary’s readiness to warmly welcome both the President of Cambodia’s National Assembly and a future royal visit by His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni.
Samdech Khuon Sudary conveyed her appreciation for Hungary’s continued support for Cambodia’s development, particularly in key sectors such as human resource training, agriculture, and healthcare.
The two reaffirmed their commitment to elevating bilateral legislative cooperation for the mutual benefit of their nations and peoples, emphasising the importance of peace.
