Minister of Health Visits Wounded Soldiers and Civilians in Siem Reap Hospitals

H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, visited wounded civilians and soldiers on July 28 evening to offer his support and assess their medical care at Siem Reap’s January 16 Referral Hospital and Kulen Health Centre.
Accompanied by senior health officials, Minister Chheang Ra commended the medical teams for their dedication and urged enhanced coordination among staff to ensure optimal patient care. He stressed the importance of leveraging all available resources to provide the highest standard of treatment, particularly for injured military personnel.
“In these challenging times, our health workers must remain unwavering in their commitment to the people,” H.E. Minister said. He praised their tireless efforts, unity, and professionalism, reinforcing the noble principle that “doctors are the army in white coats.”
The visit underscored the Royal Government’s ongoing support for both healthcare workers and those affected by recent conflicts, reaffirming the Ministry of Health’s commitment to public welfare.
