Cambodian Prime Minister to Pay Official Working Visit to Japan in Late May

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the First Lady, Lok Chumteav Dr. PICH Chanmony HUN Manet, will pay an official working visit to Japan from May 28 to 31, 2025, at the invitation of the Government of Japan.
According to a press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan. Samdech Thipadei is also expected to have separate bilateral meetings with leaders of Japan's Diet and deliver the keynote speech at the Nikkei Forum 30th "Future of Asia".
In addition, the source continued, Samdech Thipadei will attend the Cambodia-Japan Business Forum.
During their stay in Japan, Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister and the First Lady Dr. PICH Chanmony will also meet with the Cambodian community in Japan, it added.
Samdech Thipadei's visit to Japan will further advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries, underlined the ministry.
Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister and the First Lady will be accompanied by H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other ministers, senior government officials, and representatives from the private sector.
