15 More Wagons from China Arrive in Cambodia
AKP Phnom Penh, May 21, 2025 --
Fifteen (15) more new wagons that the Royal Railway purchased from China have arrived in Cambodia.
This is part of the flat wagons that Royal Railway has ordered from China, with the first batch arriving on Dec. 1 last year.
These wagons were shipped by sea and are currently undergoing thorough inspections, focusing particularly on the braking systems and other safety components, the firm said in a press statement issued on May 21.
The newly arrived Flat Top Wagons are specifically designed for versatile freight transport, capable of carrying container cargo, loose goods, fuel tanks, gas cylinders, sand, and a wide variety of other materials.
“This investment reflects Royal Railway’s strong commitment to enhancing transport capacity and continuously improving service quality and operational efficiency,” the firm said.
The Royal Railway extended its sincere gratitude to all its valued customers, partners, and collaborators for their continued trust and support, and reaffirmed its continued dedication to delivering even better services and contributing to the development of Cambodia’s infrastructure and economy.
