Cambodian PM Reaffirms Commitment to National Development
AKP Phnom Penh, May 17, 2025 --
Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, this morning reaffirmed the Royal Government’s strong commitment to national development.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a newly constructed three-storey school building with 18 classrooms and supporting facilities at Hun Sen Pramoy High School, located in Pramoy village, Pramoy commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province, the Premier emphasised that the government, under the leadership of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), remains focused on advancing the nation and safeguarding peace.
“No matter what anyone says, the Royal Government will continue to work tirelessly to serve the people and develop our country,” he stated.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet also called on all local authorities to continue their efforts in addressing public concerns and delivering services that improve citizens’ lives.
“The achievements inaugurated today may be similar to others elsewhere, but this school building in Veal Veng district carries special significance. This area was once a battlefield during the civil war and is located in a remote region. Today, it has become a centre for education and human resource development,” he underlined.
Samdech Thipadei stressed that such progress would not have been possible without Win-Win policy and other right policies led by CPP, which have brought lasting peace and stability to previously conflict-affected and remote regions.
“Patriotism is not something to merely post on Facebook, speak about at forums, or write in books. It must be demonstrated through concrete actions that contribute to national development — especially in border areas, where development becomes a force for national defence,” stressed the Prime Minister.
