AKP Phnom Penh, May 16, 2025 — 
The Cambodian Prime Minister hosted a courtesy meeting at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh with visiting Vietnam’s Minister of Public Security H.E. Senior Lt. Gen. Luong Tam Quang on May 16. 
Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet thanked the Vietnamese Minister for coming to Cambodia to join the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Cambodian National Police, May 16, 1945 – May 16, 2025. 
He appreciated the blossoming cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and thanked the Vietnamese ministry for continuous support in training and capacity building for the Cambodian police force. 
H.E. Luong Tam Quang thanked Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet for his warm hospitality and emphasised that the good cooperation between the two ministries stands as a firm pillar for the expanding relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia. 
He reaffirmed his support to continue strengthening the cooperation with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior to better contribute to maintaining security and stability and for the benefit of the two neighbouring peoples and countries.
