Cambodia, Pakistan to Accelerate the Signing of Tourism Cooperation MoU

Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak met here on Feb. 19 with H.E. Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Cambodia, to discuss tourism cooperation.
The meeting aimed to exchange views on promoting tourism between the two countries and to speed up the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cambodia-Pakistan tourism cooperation, said the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism.
Additionally, the source continued, discussions included a request for support in promoting Cambodia’s potential tourist destinations to attract more tourists, particularly from the Muslim community, to visit Cambodia.
The Ministry of Tourism has been working on strategies to increase attractiveness among the Muslim tourism market in response to trends as well as the continuously increasing size of the Muslim tourism market.
